The Lowestoft Arts Centre

 Corona virus

Reopened at last!

The gallery has now reopened.

Initially our opening hours will be restricted until all our volunteers are able to join  us again. The new hours will be:

Thursday: 11 until 3

Friday: 11 until 3

Saturday: 11 until 4

We will be restricting numbers in the gallery, have installed a courtesey screen, have introduced a new cleaning regime and are now able to take card payments. And, in line with government requirements, customers have to wear face masks.

Do come and take a look at what we now have to offer.

If you are interested in joining the Centre (just £10 a year) and exhibiting and/or volunteering with us do contact John Daynes at

The Lockdown Gallery which we have been hosting on behalf of Oulton Broad Art Circle has now finished. We would like to thank all those who have submitted work or shown an interest.

Lowestoft Arts is a non-profit making volunteer community initiative formed to promote the arts in the Lowestoft area.

You will find us at the Triangle Market Place in the High Street almost opposite the famous 'sails'. We always offer a warm and friendly welcome to new and existing customers as well as our talented and creative artists. You are very welcome to just come in and browse.

The Arts Centre provides a gallery displaying a large and varied range of work by local artists and craftspeople plus studios for teaching and small group meetings. Studio hire is also available to individuals or small groups for arts activities. We are also pleased to offer disabled access to the gallery and studios.

Lowestoft Arts Centre is run by our lovely volunteers, however offers of help are always welcome.
