The Lowestoft Arts Centre
As you would expect Lowestoft Arts Centre gallery is now closed until further notice.
We will post further information here as it becomes available.
Information about the cancelled AGM will be posted as soon as possible.
We are looking to reopen the gallery as soon as possible and we are now making preparations to make it as safe as we can for both our volunteers and our visitors.
It won't both quick and it won't be easy, so please bear with us.
We are looking to open before the end of July. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
In the meantime Lowestoft Arts centre is pleased to be hosting a 'Lockdown Gallery' on behalf of Oulton Broad Art Circle.
Click on the 'Artists' galleries' link above (you may have to click on a menu symbol first) to see how OBAC members have being using their lockdown time.
The gallery is continuing until the end of July. Until then all members of the public in and around the Lowestoft area are now invited to submit work to go in the gallery. Just send photos of your pictures (no more than three please) to John Daynes at email@example.com
Lowestoft Arts is a non-profit making volunteer community initiative formed to promote the arts in the Lowestoft area.
You will find us at the Triangle Market Place in the High Street almost opposite the famous 'sails'. We always offer a warm and friendly welcome to new and existing customers as well as our talented and creative artists. You are very welcome to just come in and browse.
The Arts Centre provides a gallery displaying a large and varied range of work by local artists and craftspeople plus studios for teaching and small group meetings. Studio hire is also available to individuals or small groups for arts activities. We are also pleased to offer disabled access to the gallery and studios.
Lowestoft Arts Centre is run by our lovely volunteers, however offers of help are always welcome.
